Childhood:

Oskar Lagesson was born on July 20, 1996 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the second largest city population wise in the country of Sweden, totaling around 510,00 regular residents which is only second to Stockholm's 970,000 people. Oskar was born as the middle child in a family with three children, his older sister being named Rebecca and his younger brother James. The three children always got along pretty well, being fairly close together in age but of course there were times where they got into arguments or fights with each other. Rebecca was nicknamed Becca and James was referred to as Jimmy by family and close friends while the people close to Oskar would tease him and call him "Oskar the grouch". These three siblings grew up in a modest home in Gothenburg and the family was among the middle class. Oskar, as the middle child, was always a protector of his sister and his younger brother as they started to grow up and he really enjoyed watching the game of hockey, especially his idol and fellow countryman, Erik Karlsson throughout his childhood and thus, he had an itch to play the game himself. The Lagesson parents saved enough for that to happen and obliged Oskar with his wish, embarking him on the first steps to his hockey career.

High School:

As Oskar grew older, he grew into a respectable young man, always respecting his parents and elders as well as focusing and applying himself towards his studies in high school so that he would receive a good education and put himself on a good path for a good career in the future. He attended Hvitfeldtska High School in central Gothenburg and did his very best to keep his grades up while also participating in extracurricular activities and having a social life. Oskar was an excellent student and also played hockey for the local youth team, HK Kings, having a lot of fun with his friends as well as improving his hockey skills on a daily basis, becoming a very good defenseman for them. He knew that he could not rely on hockey as a career as it was not a sure thing and thus, his studies took priority and he graduated from Hvitfeldtska High School with honours in many subjects. Of course he was better in some subjects than others but those subjects that he was not as good in, he still finished with a passing grade and a pretty decent final score. Oskar started dating in high school as well, meeting a pretty girl with blonde hair and blue eyes who was a classmate of his, named Aleksandra. They started dating each in  other in first year high school and continued dating, even when Oskar went away for university.

University:

After graduating from high school on the honour roll, Lagesson received an offer to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst and he studied broadcasting there while making every attempt to improve his english on a daily basis. Aleksandra also followed Oskar abroad, attending the same university as him and they continued to date. Oskar tried out for the university hockey team and made the cut for the UMass Minutemen hockey team, who play in NCAA's division one in Hockey East. He did well in both his studies as well as the athletic department, showcasing his on-ice skills for the Minutemen. He graduated at the end of his university days with a Bachelor of Communication - Broadcast Media Studies, something he could use in many fields of the work force. But much to his surprise, his hockey skills were noticed by a team back home in Sweden who offered him a contract.

Swedish Hockey League:

Upon completion of university studies, Oskar Lagesson was passed up in the National Hockey League (NHL) draft in his draft eligible year but he was offered a contract to play for the Djurgardens IF hockey club of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) in Stockholm. Again, his girlfriend, Aleksandra followed Oskar as they continued to date and she had completed her university studies as well. Oskar played two seasons in the Swedish Hockey League, suiting up for all 110 team games in that time. He impressed with his offensive play as a defenseman and thus, many scouts from other professional leagues came out to watch him almost on a nightly basis. His hard work paid off as a scout of a North American team met with him after a very successful game when his contract was nearly completed. That scout was excited what he seen and heard from Oskar, so much so that he went back to his GM and insisted that they sign him to a free agent contract.

The VHLM:

That North American team previously mentioned who scouted Oskar and the scout insisting to the GM that they sign him straight away, was from none other than the San Diego Marlins of the Victory Hockey League Minors (VHLM). Lagesson thought this was a great opportunity for him to chase his dream of becoming an elite professional hockey player in North America and he accepted their offer. He had a good first season in San Diego and enjoyed his time there, thus he declared eligibility for the upcoming dispersal draft as well as the major league (VHL) entry draft. First, he was selected in the VHL Entry Draft by the Moscow Menace with the number 21 overall selection (2nd round) and that was followed up by being selected by the Mexico City Kings with the number 6 overall selection (1st round) in the VHLM Dispersal Draft. Moscow assigned him to Mexico City for another year of development and he has been lights out for the Kings there thus far. Should he continue along that path, I see no reason why Oskar will not make the jump and suit up for the big boys with the Moscow Menace regularly next season and beyond.

Review: Not a half bad story, grammar wasn’t terrible though it seems like you have some run-ons in your sentence (which I have all the time). It also seems weird considering he played 2 seasons in the shl, but somehow played 110 games (would be 104 just a quick correction there). Thus if there is an incorrect fact brings you down on the rating scale besides that the story wasn’t half bad but next time try to lure me in or go for a simpler type subject I’m sure someone else enjoyed it however you receive a 4.3 rating @fever95 (tag for the correction also I believe you where my gm and I was your AGM in chl :).  )
