S70 Prospect Card - Jacques Lafontaine

When Jacques Lafontaine delcared for the VHL I bet there were a number of GM's that let a sigh of relief, only momentarily until they realized how many teams are in need of a cornerstone type goaltender. Lafontaine looks to be as advertized, as his Saskatoon Wild have been red hot all season sporting a remarkable 33-1 record. Lafontaine hold to top spot in all three major goalie statlines. He has .906 Save %, 1.68 GAA, and of course the 33 win line. Many might write that off to being on a dominant team in the VHLM, but this should not discount the value of this prospect. Many scouts and analysists say it is much hard to go out and save 15 shots in a night than 25. Lafontaine has proven to be cool under pressure, and has been consistent all year round. There are a number of teams that would be willing to give up a lot to get this goalie prospect, should not be surprised if there are some aggressive trades in order to secure this high value prospect.
