22 year old rookie Justin Graves is hoping to finally ink his first deal in the VHL. Graves has played in local leagues in his hometown of Halifax Nova Scotia for most of his life but now he thinks it’s time to make the step, rumour has it his agent Jason Antolotti has struggled to find him a deal so far. Graves is mediocre talent at the age of 22 joining later then he’d like the odds are stacked against him to succeed in this league and many are left to wonder if this move is the right decision for the Halifax Native, When asked about joining  the league and where he’d hope to land he responded “well obviously the Halifax 21s would be a dream for me to play in my home town but ultimately its gonna come down to where I think I have the best opportunity to prove myself!” Well definitely would be an exciting thing for him to get an offer from his hometown team but the questions there would  it be the best place for him to start his career? The best place for home to start his career would be with whatever team actually offers him a contract, he doesn’t have any offers yet so forget about home town he still needs to really get in the league come on now unless he’s a diamond in the rough his chances are limited!
