Ohradka Records 2nd Consecutive 100-Point Season

Over the weekend, during a 7-1 victory over the Ottawa Lynx, “007”, the Slovakian Sniper, Ondrej Ohradka, capped off a four-point first period with his 37th goal of the season and his second goal of the game for his 100th point this year giving him an incredible two consecutive 100-point seasons in the VHLM for the Saskatoon Wild.

Winger Killy Foilen darted a perfect pass up to a streaking Edwin THE Encarnacion. Ohradka turned on the jets creating a 2-on-1 as they entered the Lynx zone. Encarnacion glided wide to widen the distance between him and the lone defender. Once the defenseman collapsed to the ice and swung his stick at Encarnacion, the Wild blueliner flipped a beauty saucer pass over the prone Lynx player and right on to Ohradka’s stick. Ohradka snapped a laser top shelf that blew by Lynx goalie, Aleksandr Aleksandrov’s outstretched glove and popped the water bottle off the net like a champagne cork.

Ondrej Ohradka would end up the night’s 2nd star and hold on to second place in Wild scoring and 7th in league scoring. With 12 now games left on the schedule, it’s safe to say Ohradka will beat his personal best mark of 104 points from last season.
