When I first saw the theme week I didn't know what I would write about but then I decided to write about of my former players who was very underrated once he stepped up to the VHL Former. When I unsuspectedly retired him he still wasn't talked about at all. No one seemed to care that he went out of the league so he is under rated compared to many players in this league. Now the rest of the players I spoke about here and some great guys who I played with during my time here in the VHL. They are all warriors and can do a lot but they were all great on the ice.

Malmo Nighthawk and Halifax 21st Blake Gaudette. Gaudette had a insane season in the VHLM a while ago. So he had all the tools to be good. When he first came to the VHL he started off great but then died off. Even when we was red hot he still wasn't talked about at all. Not for Rookie of the year not for anything. He was playing the best hockey of his life and no one seemed to notice. It slowly made him hate the game more and more before he randomly retired in Season 68. The season after Blake left Malmo went insane going to the finals.

Well after talking about Blake I feel I should talk about a player that isn't my own and his name is Hugh Chan. Chan former Halifax 21st and current Malmo Nighthawk played a season with Gaudette back in his last season with Halifax. Hugh currently has eight goals, thirty assists and thirty eight points so far in his second season in the VHL. Sadly though Hugh isn't as active as he used to be only being at four hundred and eighty eight tpe and claiming six tpe on average lately.

Now im going to write about a third person. His name is former Halifax 21st Nacho. He had a breakout year in season sixty six but didn't get any credit because of his line mates Axelson and Gaudette. Who were tied for second in scoring. Nacho was one of the best centres in the league at the time but got zero credit even though he was setting up Blake and A.J. A lot.

Next up here is a great guy who I loved playing with that that is Thorvald Gunnarsson. Former goalie for the Halifax 21st and is now playing for the New York Americans. He has never been a full cap player but he has always impressed me. One of the most chill guys I have ever talked to in this league. Sucks he isn't as active as he could of been. I still remember when he was fighting for the crease with Michael Johnson.

Well here are 4 guys who never really got any attention during there careers 2 of them are still going strong Hugh in Malmo and Thorvald in New York. I wish these guys the best with the rest of there VHL careers.

And to everyone reading this have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year
