Reign using Dynamo Insults as Motivation

After the Riga Reign defeated the Vasteras Iron Eagles in game 6 of the EU Quarter finals, HC Davos Dynamo forward Davey Jones said to the media, "Finally. Now we know who will be the team we easily get to beat." This seems to have rustled some jimmies with members of the Riga Reign, and helped motivate them to come out to a 3-2 series lead. While the Reign have not yet won the series, it can certainly be said that even if Riga loses the next two games they will not have been "easily beaten." Jones's arrogant comment along with Riga's series lead prompted Riga's team captain Brennan McQueen to go on a rant about how much he disliked Davos and hoped Riga would soon defeat them. To continue the trash talking, I don't think it's possible for Davos to win the series because their GM Victor is an old man . Squinty I know you are reading this hi Squinty! 

 

Moral of the story is overconfidence killed the cat.
