Ottawa Lynx Seeking Assistant General Manager

With the Season 37 Off-Season approaching, the Ottawa Lynx organization is officially posting an opening in the vacated position of Assistant General Manager. Previously held by Austin Gow, now General Manager of the Founder’s Cup finalist Yukon Rush, the position has been left opened since Season 36. Lynx General Manager Jim Gow has decided that it’s time to fill the position again.

“It’s always nice to show someone the ropes of the VHLM and allow them to get their foot in the door,” said Jim. “Over the past couple of seasons, there’s been a movement in the minors to start opening up some junior positions within organizations, and I think it’s time for Ottawa to do their part in aiding future minor league general managers.”

Some of the job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Maintaining a positive and energetic locker room experience
  • Contacting draftees and inactive players
  • Aiding in amateur and minor league scouting
  • Acting for the General Manager in the event he is unavailable
  • To all those interested, just give me a little blurb about why I should hire you

I apply. Would love to come back to the franchise that started my career Just didn't do it in the first place as I thought a new member would jump on this first.
