Uhtred ready for his first season as a Marlin

Uhtred is ready for his second and first full season in the VHLM.   Uhtred was drafted by Minnesota 11th overall and then traded to the San Diego Marlins for a first round draft pick.   Although Uhtred is just entering his first full season he will look to bring his championship. 

 

  Uhtred just recently moved to his new San Deigo home and is excited to get to know his new teammates.  "last season was a great season but I'm looking forward to the upcoming season. I am ready to take the next step and take a bigger role with the team.  Last season I was happy to be the role player to help the wild win the cup but now I'm ready for more. We have alot of talent on this team and I can't wait to get out in the ice and win my second cup in a row.  

 

Based on the current roster Uhtred appears to be on a second line which is a big step up from his 4th line role last season.  We will find out if he will be able to handle the pressure of increased ice time in addition to the pressure of a VHL draft year.
