KC15 340
DC Dragons winger, Guy Lesieur, is off to a hot start in the brand new S70 season. He has already lit the lamp twice and notched an assist 3 times in this early going. The Dragons have only played 4 games thus far and that means, with his 5 points thus far, Guy Lesieur is starting at more than a point per game. We are barely into the season, but those 2 goals are tied for most on the Dragons. He has also already inscribed his name as first star for the first time this year. Who knows if he will continue at this torrid pace, but then again, it’s not completely a surprise. Guy has excellent coaching from his GM and veteran teammates and he has been working like a dog on all the big attributes for an early-career goal scorer: Scoring, Defense, Skating, and Puck Handling. He has gotten his Scoring and Defense up to a fairly lofty 90 in just his second season in the VHL and his Skating and Puck Handling are at 85+. In spite of the fast start and his excitement around this achievement, he is still disappointed that the Dragons are faring better in the standings - 5th place in their conference and out of the playoffs. However, DC has played one less game than all of its North American Conference rivals and a win in that game would mean a tie for the last playoff spot. So, 4 games in – 68 more to play. Lots of hockey to play, but it’s still nice to get off to a running start!
