Fire Tortorella 2,653 Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 So I accidentally titled last week's as S71 instead of S70...thought I was one more season into my career than I actually was! Originally, I was going to do a "My Expanded VHL Thoughts" as a media spot for this week, given everything that's gone on around the league recently, but it's 3:30ish on Sunday and I didn't do it yet, and the Super Bowl is coming up. That's going to be next week's media spot, and I'll have donation doubles by then. Moscow currently sits 2nd in the EU Conference (1 point behind Riga, but we have 1 game in hand) and I think 4th in the VHL, but only behind by 1 point again. We started off really hot, but have cooled off recently somewhat. Just the eb and flow of a 72 game season IMO. I am never adding to discipline again when I'm actually going for hits. It is severely crippling to me getting hits and my Labette hopes, since I won't get a ton of shot blocks because Moscow is actually good. I had a fleeting thought of making a goalie with my next player, but then I came to my senses and remembered how much Bernie sucked and how random it can be, so that thought passed quickly.
