Both are currently sitting at 102 points in 44 games, 6 points ahead of Hugh Jass, the 3rd place leader in points. If the players continue the pace they'll hit 166 points this season, one of the highest numbers in recent history. Oferson currently sits atop the Goals leaderboard and Davis similarly on the assists. Their team, the San Diego Marlins are 3rd in the league, 3 points behind Minnesota and 5 behind the Lynx. However, they lead in Goals For and have the 3rd least Goals Against, and the best Goal Differential in the league. With the trade deadline coming up, it will be interesting to see how the top of the standings shakes out, and if San Diego can close the gap between them and the Storm and Lynx.
