Riga added two stars at deadline and solidified themselves as one of the best teams in the league for the rest of the season. They fell short in the playoffs to Davos in 7 games in the European Conference Finals but proved that they could keep up with the big dogs. Even if they would have made it past they would have most likely got ran over by Toronto just like Davos did but that's not the point! The point is that in season 38 the Riga Reign are going to look to take the throne that Davos has had for the past 2 seasons and that is the European Conference. The Reign are continuing to become more and more developed core that was formed just a few seasons ago. That core includes Brennan McQueen, Robin Gow, Robert Gow III, Mike Szatkowski Jr and Slaeter Fjorsstrom. Add in Kameron Taylor who is desparate for a cup going into his final season and Malcom Spud who likes to add another to his multiple in also his final season and then you have a couple of young prospects like KJA, Johan Hallstrom and Phil Vileneuve and you have a roster that's not only looking to lead the European Conference but go all the way and looking to be on top for many years to come. All I'm trying to say is look out league, it's Riga's time to shine.
