CALGARY - Jacques Lafontaine had his fourth start a while ago. He performed well and came out with the win, stopping 19 out of 21 shots as the Calgary Wranglers beat the Toronto Legion with a score of 6 to 2. The young netminder has not lost in a regulation game in the Victory Hockey League game yet with a record of 3 wins, 0 regulation losses, and 1 overtime/shootout loss. He has shown that he can be a solid backup for the Calgary Wranglers when he needs to be.

“Yeah, I am proud of my performance tonight,” he told reporters and interviewers after the game. “The team played well, I played well, we got the 2 points. Everything went well for us and we performed well. What else is there to say?”

The Calgary Wranglers have been one of the better teams this season and while Jacques isn’t one of the big reasons they are, he is showing everyone that he will be a big reason they are in the future.
