The Hall of Fame. Every sport has one, and no matter what sport you play being in the hall is one of the greatest achievements you could ever accomplish.

What does it truly mean to be in the Hall of Fame? Does it mean your the best of best? Does it mean your one of the greatest players of all time? Does it mean you revolutionized the game? The answer is all the above.

Players in the Hall of Fame end up there for totally different reasons. Some players, like Scotty Campbell, are there for how easy they made it seem to put the puck in the net. While others, like Sandro Clegane, made it nearly impossible to put the puck in the net.

Some players that I have not seen mentioned very much this week is Joseph McWolf and Alexander Pepper. Who is to say that haven't changed the way the game is played? Who is to say they aren't inspiring people to be better? When the next wave of inductees are announced will we see the real impact their careers had on the league? They are prime examples of being great players being put done by stats, sure they might not have as many points as Borwinn, but they still are some of the greatest players soon ending their career.

So what does it mean to be in the Hall of Fame? In my mind it means you changed the game, you inspired people to be better, you were to simply put it, great.
