SS Hornet Gets Used to Life As a VHLMer

Not even 2 months after it wore skates for the first time, SS Hornet is already feeling at home on the North American rinks of the VHLM. Following a combine held in its hometown of Halifax, the steambot received a call from the Houston Bulls, inviting it to prove its worth over the course of 22 regular season games and, hopefully, a deep and successful playoff run. The playoff run ended abruptly in the semi-finals, where the Bulls got swept in 4 games by the overpowered and still undefeated Minnesota Storm, but it was a great experience for the Canadian center. In fact, Hornet has proven it can play alongside - and against - other VHL hopefuls as it scored 6 goals and notched 14 assists while maintaining a +22 differential in 22 games. Its 6 goals came from 66 shots, converting at a sub-par rate, but it could be attributed to either bad puck luck, inexperience or a mix of both.

Hornet has no idea what's coming up for it next season, but it's ready to write the new chapter of its short sentient life. It is available in the next VHLM Draft, and is expected to be among the first couple of names called up to the stage, as it appears to be one of the best eligible sharpshooters. Great things are expected from the steambot next season.
