As the Calgary Wranglers tie up the finals series, Sigard Gunnar reflects on the one thing he loves more then hockey... FAMILY. Soon after the Wranglers tied up the series 1-1, Gunnar flew in his family from Iceland to watch him play, and boy oh boy did he not disappoint. The first game they saw he scored the game tying goal, and the game winning goal, obviously scoring a total of two points, and while his team did lose his family got to see Gunnar score another goal, and Gunnar loved to watch his family go off, while he scored those 3 points in 2 games, clearly giving him the motivation he needed.

Here's what Gunnar had to say about the event: "You know it was a team effort, we where making good offensive plays the 1st game, and Rift was just a beast for us to be completely honest. The next game we where not on our A-game there, and Rift could’ve been better, but you expect a guy to play great, and you know having my family come out to see me play that’s just everything, and I hope, I can lift that cup for them you know my parents, and my brother, and sadly my wife has stayed in Iceland to watch the game with a baby on the way come off-season hopefully. I just hope the team and my family will have a great game, and even guy like Laffy that won’t most likely play, I just hope they’ll have a ton of fun."
