Jeff Downey Ups Offseason Training Regimen

 

Vancouver, British Columbia – After a disappointing end to their season the Vancouver Wolves are coming into the new season with a chip on their shoulder. The team is putting in extra efforts over the offseason to try and get themselves ready for another year of high level competing.

 

For defenseman Jeff Downey there are going to be big changes for him training wise over the offseason. After taking a short trip back to his hometown of Barrie, Ontario, he quickly returned to the training center in Vancouver. When asked about his offseason plans Downey had the following to say.

 

‘I need to be better this coming year. With the departure of my defense partner Tzuyu I am going to need to really step up and put up some big numbers this year if this team is going to compete. I am going to spend as much time as possible in the gym this offseason and I plan on hitting a completely new level in my game next year.’
