Heading in to the VHL Entry Draft tonight, the DC Dragons had their minds set on getting a star goalie for the future. They didn't have a high pick, so they traded up with New York to obtain 4th overall. With this pick, they selected star VHLM goaltender Stone Wolski from the Houston Bulls. Wolski was the only goalie in the VHLM this season to have above .910% save percentage. In fact, he had 0.915, while the next best, Bruce Grimaldi had 0.901. That's a pretty big jump from 1st to 2nd in the league, so those are impressive numbers.

Stone Wolski being on the DC Dragons is somewhat familiar to him, as his agency is already a member of a Dragons team in the SHL, the Calgary Dragons. The DollarAndADream Agency now has 2 hockey players on Dragons teams in separate leagues.

This upcoming season, Stone Wolski will be backing up fellow goaltender Pekka Pouta for DC, and is looking to make his mark as a backup and start to take over as the Dragons starting goalie.
