LeBeau extends his career.

“Forced retirement? I don’t think so.” These were LeBeau’s words when he was asked about his plans after season 38, the year that is supposed to be the last in his career according to league rules. Remy LeBeau does not agree with it though, he feels like he is in well enough shape to continue for another eight years. I am in the prime of my life so why would I retire? I just spend all my salary on the opportunity to train more. I’ve worked out so hard during the off season that the depreciation did not hurt me a single bit.

I will happily extend for another three, four seasons with the Toronto Legion. I am just waiting until Tyler Edgar sends me the contract so we can seal the deal. I am not done with the VHL yet. I got two Shaw trophies, one Kanou trophy, a Victory Cup and a Continental Cup. There is room in my house for much more. The VHL has not seen the last of me just yet, an agitated LeBeau added.
