CALGARY - Jacques Lafontaine was spotted eating a sandwich. Now, normally, that would not be something to report. That would be the weirdest article ever. What is so interesting about it? It was just your regular ham sandwich. Lettuce and cheese included. But the thing that caught people’s attention was not the fact that he was eating a sandwich. It was the fact he was doing it on top of the Saddledome. Confused people who were originally there for a Flames game spotted the man. Security was trying to figure out how the hell he got up there. Everyone saw him sitting at the edge of the roof, enjoying his sandwich. Thanks to security footage, the mystery was soon cleared up.

“Well, let’s just say that always have a friend that can fly a helicopter.”

After he finished, he called someone on his phone. Then a helicopter came by, threw down a ladder, and Jacques Lafontaine simply hung on to it and they flew away.

And just when we thought he was a normal, everyday goaltender.

"What can I say? I just like sandwiches. And it was getting hot in the helicopter."
