What if?

Each time a GM positioning comes up I apply in hopes of claiming one of the most coveted positions in the VHL. There is always a question that runs through my mind and that is “What if I actually got the job?” I would then suddenly be moving on from a team that I helped assemble in Yukon. A team I have built a great relationship with from top to bottom. “What if I ended up facing off against them during the season or in a playoff round?” How would I feel? 
 

I would feel a sense of accomplishment. I would feel that somehow the work I put in really mattered. There would for a split second be this thought of “would I really be upset if these guys beat me?” Of course they were a big part of my journey too. But then that second would pass and I would enjoy crushing them in a 7 game series and winning the title.
