Hextall Reunites with old teammates..... again!!

Jaxx Hextall has once again gotten to reunite with some old teammates for a second season in a row. Brothers Leon Gutzwiler and Gabriel Gutzwiler were traded for just a third round pick in season 73, rumor has it that the plan is to switch both brothers to defense in the off season to help the team with a struggling defense. Last season the Minnesota Storm acquired Ben Storm and Liam Rooney from the Halifax 21st allowing Jaxx Hextall to reunite with his former teammates, Jaxx stated that having the familiar faces in the locker room was comforting, if he was ever feeling pressure or nervous he'd talk to Ben Storm who he is really good friends with. While Hextall has much more experience under his belt now it's safe to assume that seeing former teammates skate in front of him again will help his confidence. During a press conference we asked Hextall about getting to play with the brothers again.

 

"Oh it's great, and it was quite the surprise to, I didn't see it coming at all. Last season I felt lucky to play with Storm and Looney again on the same team, with how many players are in the VHL I felt the chances that someone from our Minnesota team that won the cup, or anyone that I played with in Halifax, would be very very low but here we are. I look forward to seeing them in the locker room again"
