Viper 530
This interview was hosted in Buffalo, NY. We were catching Axel off of the plane so we can interview him. The airport had given us a small part of privacy so this interview can be held. This is made to show how I feel about this whole thing. VIPER NEWS - JOBS I am Carter McBain, and here I have Willy Axel, the former AGM of the Las Vegas Aces of the VHLM, and he is going to sit here while we interview him. Hello, Mr. Axel, how are you today? I am pretty good, Carter. How are you? I'm fine. Now, are you mad at Proto for relieving you of your duties? I'm not mad at all. He didn't do anything wrong. It's his team and he gave me a heads up weeks in advance. Kachur is a great guy and he will be an inspiration to that team. I see, well, are you going to miss Vegas? For sure! I had some great times there with my players and Poptart. Proto was my player, and now that he has taken the role of GM, I feel proud since I feel I have matured him as my player to take on that responsibility. I'm not taking all of the credit, but I feel I helped him out. What was your reaction to Poptart stepping down? Well, Poptart has been an inspiration to me. I have learned so much from him and he was an insanely good GM. He had the mindset and the energy to make everyone here enjoy his love of Taylor Swift. I was very surprised. I respect his decision, and I hope he can gather the time to return to the GM world. How did you react when Proto was selected as the new GM? I felt honored to work for Proto. He was my player and a great guy to be around. However... I made the mistake of giving Hornet the "C"... haha its all in good fun. What was your fondest moment in Vegas? My fondest moment? Wow, that's a hard one. I have had many great times there. I am going to miss this place, but my fondest moment has to be the day I got there. Walking home after a day at the VHL Stats Facility, since I was working there at the time, I had received a phone call from Poptart saying I had gotten the job. I was ecstatic. I got to work making a presser, and making some TPE lists in the locker room. It was fun, but not everything can last forever. The *cough* Blackhawks can't *cough*... I need a moment haha. Last question, are you excited for a new job opportunity? Oh, yeah! I love working in the VHL area and I can't wait for another job to open up. I hope that my previous experience will help me get a job and continue my "legacy" if you will haha. I'm only joking, I don't really have a legacy to my name. I try, but I could've been better. Hopefully, another GM will give me a chance to prove myself and I can work for them. Well, that's all Mr. Axel. Thanks for your time. Thanks for having me. ©VIPER NEWS 2020 I am Carter McBain of the job section, and that was VHL NEWS! Please vote in our "Fan's Mind!" poll so we can see what you thought of this! Gustav 6,407
More important than losing something you like doing is how you handle losing it. The fact that you've taken it well and you're using it as motivation instead of writing articles calling people stupid (which has happened once or twice) shows that you're future GM material, so long as you stay active.
