ShawnGlade 1,010
After months of speculation about his next move as a hockey player, 18 year old Shawn Glade III has declared for the VHLM draft, following in the footsteps of his family. His grandfather Shawn Glade has a storied career at the VHLM and VHL level, winning the Continental Cup 3 times and setting the record for most defenseman playoff goals in league history. His father Shawn Glade Jr has a great career in the minors as a top defenseman in the league, and was drafted by the Davos Dynamo in the first round, yet was out of the league before his sophomore season. It'll be interesting to see where SG3 takes his career, as he was rumored to be in talks with the Minnesota Storm of the VHLM. Shawn Glade played for Halifax and Yukon, while SGjr played for Ottawa, so Minnesota is a new place in the glade family. "It would've been nice to play for a team that my family played for in the past but I'm here to create my own legacy."
