• As of roughly an hour ago, the Seattle Bears are Continental Cup champions for the 3rd time in 4 seasons. Congrats to @Banackock and the rest of the Bears. Luckily for me/us, Moscow was able to win that 1 time the Bears did not. I'm not necessarily surprised that we lost to Seattle, as overall, they probably win this series more often than not, but I am surprised at how much we were dominated. I would have thought the series to go at least 6 games, if not 7.
• So, where will Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen be playing next season? Eklund has a rumor (E4) that Werbenjagermanjensen's free agent rights will be traded to another VHL team as soon as the off-season begins. It remains to be seen if this exclusive negotiating period will be enough to convince the defenseman to sign with this team. Like before, if a team is able to sign Smitty's favorite teammate Gritty as well, it would be a positive, but definitely not a requirement.
