Shawn Glade III gets drafted

After a long-anticipated VHLM draft, Shawn Glade III finally knows his fate. The American defenseman went 25th overall to the Mississauga Hounds. Both family members before him went 12th overall in the draft. "It sucks that I went a little later than I thought I would, but this just drives me to make sure each and every team that passed up on me regrets it." SG3 was predicted by many to go in the middle of the second round just based on his name, as his father and grandfather had both been studs in the VHLM, combining for over 200 points in 150 games played. The VHLM season is set to begin soon and all eyes will be on the third generation of talent from the Glade family. "Yeah, it doesn't really bother me. Obviously I wanna carry on the family tradition of lighting it up but I know I'll do well, so not much more I could say."
