Prague Phantoms defenseman Wolf Stansson, Jr. Is about to embark on his fifth VHL season, and his final year before regression commences. It has been an interesting journey to say the very least through his first four years in the league.

WSJ’s scoring and shots blocked output hasn’t quite reached their season-highs since his rookie season, despite WSJ continuously showing improvement in these areas. However, WSJ’s +/- rating has improved all four years as the Phantoms team have slowly but surely improved with each passing year.

However this year looks to be a significant test for Prague as they lost several critical veterans from last year’s postseason team such as Superstar goaltender Brick Wahl, center Joel Ylonen among others. With unproven fourth-year goaltender Solomon Crawford expected time take over, WSJ just hopes that the team doesn’t take a step back in their development in spite of their core skaters.

shots blocked output

This was always going to happen - STHS throws shot blocks at bad teams. As we've improved, that particular number was always going to decline
