Jacques Lafontaine having a good season

CALGARY - This has been a good season so far for Lafontaine. He is having great numbers with a 0.927 save percentage in 24 games. Two starters are above him in that category but so far, they have played a couple less games in the season. However, they have only played 3 and 4 games less than Lafontaine, so it’s not that big of a difference maker. He also has a 2.24 goals against average and is in a three-way tie for the lead in shutouts with 2. Calgary has been having a good season as they are currently in first place, ahead by 3 points.

 

“Yeah, the boys have been working hard and playing well. Especially Lahtinen. That dude’s been on fire. Everybody has been dominant and I’ve been playing decently. Though, I hope I can make more saves.”

 

Jacques Lafontaine also stated his respect for the other goalies.

 

“Yeah, Hexy [Jaxx Hextall], Rayzor [Rayz Funk], Jim [Jimmy Spyro], and Greg Eagles have been playing well. Tons of respect to them and I can’t wait to faceoff against them.
