Probably a little bit. When I first signed up I'd have all my point tasks earned in the first couple hours of it being a new week. Now I'm coming home in the morning after a 12.5 hour night shift of loading salt on to a ship and thinking fuck myself I haven't done a VHL.com for my last 2 capped points of the week. So here I am rambling on but fuck all nothing to get those points when I haven't slept in 17 hours. (Fuck night shift) Anyways, I'm wondering to myself how long will it actually be before I forget to do one if I'm getting this close to the deadline when I'm only in my rookie season. Maybe I'm not cut out for being a max earner for an entire career, and if that's the case, who knows if I'll be able to maintain this for more than one player? All of that and my team is top in the league, my player is doing decent but not great for a rookie on a stacked team. What happens if I'm on a shit ass team, will I lose interest even more? Probably. Anyways, only time will tell and I hope to maintain being a max earner but starting to get a little worried. Also I need my 6 days off to come because I'm done.

So here's the thing...you don't have to do a point task every single week to be a top earner. Welfare is OK. Missing 2 TPE here and there is OK. Full earner burnout is very real. I've never gone full earner mode for all 8 seasons of a career, and Smitty is the only player of mine that could be considered a top TPE earner (Robin was close, but not elite TPE levels)

Robin - full earner mode for 5 seasons, welfare mostly for last 2

Jeff - full earner mode for 2 seasons, welfare/inactive for parts of remainder

Smitty - full earner mode for 4 or 5 seasons, welfare for rest

Everyone works differently, but I've found it easier to write longer (1,000 - 1,500 word articles) that I can claim for multiple weeks rather than trying to come up with 500 words every week. Some people are able to crank out the minimum weekly, but I can't do that anymore.

YES. I've had people ask me how I find the time or motivation to crank out 2,000 words every now and then, but it probably takes less of my time than doing something shorter every single week. I've got a few hours to myself right now, and I have an exam in two weeks? Great. I won't have to worry about sim league stuff two weeks from now.

Not to mention it usually makes for better content.
