After a disappointing first round exit to the New York Americans, Rayz Funk had this to say about his playoff performance and his future.
"It was a tough season, I felt myself slipping over and over and over again. I'm getting old and who knows how much longer I can keep this up. I couldn't get my feet underneath me when it mattered the most and the games that I could our offense was plagued instead.
My contract expires this season and I'm not sure where I'll play come the start of next season. With four more teams jumping in the league it opens up a lot of spots that could be interesting. I'll be talking over it with my agent to see what's in my best interest."

Well not quite what we expected from him, his comments leave windows open everywhere. We will have to pay close attention to this offseason as Funk determines what to do as his timelines down and the sun gets low on his career.
