Big Wins Needed

Tape-to-Tape

Game 5 of the Founders Cup final was played yesterday and Mexico needed the win badly. They were down in the series 3 games to 1 and had their backs against the wall. Mexico shoes their willing to fight for the series and scored 3 fast goals in the game starting at just 44 seconds in. They scored 2 more in the first 3 minutes and opened a commanding 3-0 lead on Saskatoon. From that point on they continued to control the game and won the game 5 to 2. Viktor Alexei Kamenov, Viktor Mjers and Jay Jones had multi point games for Mexico and Adam Frence and Lucas Brandt had 2 points each for the Wild. Game 6 is later on today and the league is excited to see the result. Will we see a game 7? It could land on who has the better goalie performance between Zamboni driver and Grekkark Gyrfalcon.
