Perrin back to form

Seabass

Recommended Posts

Seabass Perrin had a tough start this season after coming off a career high 62 point season back in S72. Throughout Perrin's career he has never suffered through any tough starts as he was always productive right out of the gate. This year however he started the year with just the two points in his first ten games and 14 points in the first 25 games of the season, well below Perrin's standards.

Even when the media in Prague started to lay on the heat on Seabass by asking him tough questions, he was very calm and composed and reminded everyone that his poor play was going to be temporary and that he was going to turn it around eventually. Soon after he had the confidence to say that, he turned on fire. He then went on to scored 28 points in his next 25 games. Unsurprisingly the Phantoms have done much better recently and a lot of that is thanks to the resurgence of Perrin's game.

The Phantoms are currently in the thick of the playoff race but are currently in the outside looking in being currently in the 6th position in the European Conference, trailing the Malmo Nighthawks by a single point, and HC Davos by 4. It will take everyone on the team, to start firing on all cylinders in order for this team to remain on a steady enough pace to make the playoffs.
