CALGARY - Jacques Lafontaine has been training hard for the playoffs. He has been waiting for another chance to win the cup ever since he and the Calgary Wranglers experienced heartbreak at the hands of the Riga Reign. The young goaltender was asked about what he was doing to prepare for the upcoming playoffs.

“Oh, you know, just practicing some skating. Simple drills, really. Throwing the reaction ball against the wall and lifting weights. Doing hill sprints. Honestly, same old, same old. Even if it is just what I do regularly, my regular practice works. It gets me in shape, which is all it’s supposed to be doing. I have been watching more tape though and trying to figure out what I can about New York. We went against them last playoffs and they were a strong team and we can be sure they’ll be fighting hard this time as well. We just have to fight back and get the wins.”

I like the article, maybe include regular season stats against NYA so the people in Vegas know who’s the favorite lol, I see LaFontaine as one of the best goalies, let’s see if he can go on a run like last year

rating 9/10
