Devise 4,475
Most by now are aware of the tragedy that happened in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The VHL recently underwent an entire face lift for an entire week of games, with each team wearing symbols on the corner of their game jersey's honouring the three lives lost, and several more injured during the tragedy. Several VHL players and organizations have come out with well wishes towards the families and the community in the city of Moncton. With a large majority of the VHL players being from Canada, most expressed shock at how something like this could happen in such a small city, one similar to a city or town most would have grown up in. Even before games the past week, there was a moment of silence before the game would start. After the week is over, every VHL players jersey will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to charities to support recovering families and victims in this time of need. The VHL is honoured to be able to help in any way it can after such a traumatic event.
