Will I give in to rejection?

Application after application rejected. Why? I don’t know. Having tried to get a job here many times but it all turns south. How long will it take or will I give up first?

 

This isn’t an article begging for pity and apologies. When 1 application fails, it okay because I’m new and people don’t know me yet. However, when multiple have failed to get through, it worries me. Maybe GM’s don’t find me suitable for a management role. I have thrown my name in enough for people to know what this is about. They tell me to keep applying but really, will it work?

 

Some have already gotten a job but I still remain in the jobless pool. What will it take for me to get a job? Activity or favouritism or maybe straight up pleasing GM’s by saying the things they want to hear. I don’t know, you tell me. I’m not desperate but curious… Why? What makes them turn away from me? What bad qualities do I possess that they don’t choose me?

Honestly there’s only so many jobs on the site, not everyone can get one and not everyone needs one. We intentionally avoid the concept of a split cap where jobs can earn more because it’s just a different way of earning. You aren’t left behind in any way from not having one.

 

With that said if it’s just a desire to do more for the site then do it. You don’t need an official title to do more, people have been doing it for over a decade now. Just find an aspect of the site that interests you and see how you can improve it.

There are 12 VHLM teams (not including VHL as not every team has an aGM...or I don't think so at least), meaning there are 12 VHLM GM positions and 12 VHLM aGM positions available. These positions are highly sought after and have a large number of members applying for them.

 

It's not personal. It's really not. And it doesn't mean you're NOT qualified. Just a supply and demand issue.

I've only written articles here to gain tpe. I don't have the time to learn graphics. If u know other aspects of the site, pls let me know
