ROOKIE745 604
One would think that the situation in Toronto is getting better, after the draft and having 2 new prospects join the team as well as a signing. Raleigh Ritchie who played with the D.C. Dragons in his previous seasons as signed with the Legion. To be fair things are getting better in Toronto but for the GM and long time players there's still a level of frustration. A recent article looked at general manger Peace's draft history, and how a lot of the players never panned out as they hoped (by this I mean they went inactive, not Peace's fault at all) however the players of the team still believe in Peace, Hextall said it's not a lack of effort or scouting, Peace works very hard and it's just unlucky so many of these players just don't have the ceiling of skill it looks like they have in the VHLM. Another aspect of this frustration is the lack of free agent signings, again this is entirely out of Peace's control but all the super star players the hit the free agent market never go to Toronto, some rumors say it's because they don't feel the team is a contender, but as Hextall put it, "I don't know what other players are expecting, like ya we're not going to get better if other high level players don't come here, no shit" clearly frustrated by those players choices. Hopefully luck will start to favor the Legion in the following seasons.
