Hello,

 

I am basically on my final day of vacation despite not actually leaving until tomorrow and not going back to work until Thursday the 24th. The smoke and hot tub leaking have been kind of shit but overall the trip has been a nice getaway from the stress and anxiety at home/work/life and has been a lot of fun too. We’ve gone much deeper into trying out luck fishing her and are having a much better time with it. 
 

Onto the VHL side of things, the off-season has once again ended and despite it being a crazy one for the Bears, we managed to get through and on paper, have a really great team. Yes, Vancouver is in 1st but I’m basing everything off TPE here and saying they’re playing ahead of themselves. We’re starting off cold but that’s normal for us. We also just won the cup and have a new goalie trying to find his feet as the starter. 
 

Entering my 26th season, a few cool things either have happened or could going to happen this season. Firstly, I just moved myself into 2nd place for all-time wins amongst GM’s. Just a reminder, I did this all with one team, during 1 single tenure, unlike a majority of other GM’s on the all-time lists. I passed Bushito’s 973 wins and sit at 975. I feel like I passed him a long time ago. When he was around he was a pretty good and smart GM. Unfortunately, his heavy ass was carried for MANY, MANY seasons and his statistics don’t actually fully reflect what he truly did. People didn’t a crazy amount of work for him towards the end of numerous tenures. Those wins belong to other people. I think I’m also closing in on 100 playoffs wins. This one I don’t really care much about lol 

 

Lastly, 1st for wins and doing it in 1 less season. 1,006 is where ADV sits. 975 (as said before) is where I believe I sit. HERE I COME.
