Red 499
About 15 or so games ago, Philadelphia looked to be comfortably sitting in an 8th seed playoff position. Even while being the 8th seed there was a considerable gap between them and any other of the bottom dwelling teams below them such as the Houston Bulls, Miami Marauders and the Minnesota Storm. However, the past week has proved how teams can drastically change in the VHLM showing how much of an impact waiver claims can make. Over the past few games the Miami Marauders have won 10 of there last 14 games after claiming multiple players through new signings. These additions have been key to there turnaround since they have twice the amount of depth than they had before. These recent run of games for Miami have catapulted them right into the playoff race with Philadelphia where they had claimed the 8th seed for a total of one day until The Reapers defeated them to take the spot back instantly. If this continues, these last handful of games in the season will be an exciting back and forth war between the two teams as they are more evenly matched then ever. 191 words.
