The VHLM is in turmoil right now as the race towards the playoffs gets tighter and tighter. Teams fighting for the number one seed, and a few fighting to even make the playoffs at all. Without further ado, let me start this list off at number 3.

3. Halifax 21st :hfx:

Halifax, is one of the best teams in the league, it's easy to see why too.

First place, 43 wins, only 76 goals allowed with 216 goals for. Yeah this team is stacked. But is it really a surprise?

They had so many first round picks, and looked like favorites way before the season actually started. But I don't think they're actually the best team.

No I think, they're the third best, they might have an amazing defense, and a pretty decent offense, but I don't think they're going to make it all the way.

They feel a LOT like the Miami team last year that choked in the finals after being the most dominate regular season team by far. Time will tell, but I don't think they have what it takes to beat the other teams on this list.

2. Mississauga Hounds :mis:

I think that Mississauga is an absolute unit of a team, they've just had to develop harder than Halifax.

They're absolutely a more well rounded team than Halifax in every way.

The second place team? Check. Overshadowed by an overrated team? Check. Probably the Mighty Ducks? No.

With 40 wins 194 goals for, and 108 goals allowed the stats might look less impressive. But stats mean nothing in the post season.

This was absolutely proven last year by Minnesota when they spanked Miami in the finals. Miami was the clear favorite but again, spanked.

Mississauga really has what it takes to win, just not against this next team.

1. Las Vegas Ace's :veg:

36-9-5 in the strongest conference in the minors. Impressive.

Star power on the top two lines, depth players who can score, and the grit to get through the playoffs victorious.

Vegas is by far the best team this season. Maybe not by stats,

but by the sheer fact that the teams they play every week are stronger than the last two teams.

Vegas has Gary Rush, one of the best players to grace the Ice in the minors.

Chris Reynolds, an absolute stud who plays like he's got to score clutch goals every time he plays.

With a goals for of 225 they are the highest scoring team in the minors.

With a goals against of 117, they keep the puck out very well.

This team has a goal differential of 108. The second highest in the league. (first if you consider the fact the East is weak)

Vegas has it all, and they'll win it all too this season.

In conclusion, you all knew who I was going to pick to win it all. Vegas is king, and you all know it.
