"I'm on a bit of a reduced role here in Vancouver and I respect that. Since that's the case, while I work on other areas of my game, I intend to go after the most hits category for rookies this season. I know it's not an award but it shows that I'm a physical presence and I'm present every single time my blade touches the ice. It makes us a harder team to face and that should propel us further. Even if I were to get increased minutes, all I'd be looking for is being present, physically. I don't need much motivation to go on a bender, I'm already chomping on the bit. I've had a decent season so far, especially in the minutes I've had. I expect to be explosive next season. I'm looking for that most improved award next season. I'll be forcing the coach to give me more minutes with my play. The reason I'm so confident in this is that I had a conversation with Peter Forsberg and he said he'd be willing to coach me next season as long as I give him a pack of 32 twinkies a week. Little does he know, I own the twinkies company now (used the monies from my contract to buy them out). You can call me the twinkie king."
