Seabass 593
Perrin experiencing butterflies before facing former team. The Prague Phantoms will be facing off against the Helsinki Titans as they made the playoffs after winning a tiebreaker with HC Davos who they tied in the standings at 80 points each. This will bring a emotional series for a few players as there are 3 players who will be facing their former teams, Erik Draven, Seabass Perrin and Alex Pearson. For Helsinki Titan defeseman, Seabass Perrin the series will be a tough one considering he has played almost 300 career games for the opposing team. Perrin was drafted by the Phantoms with the 17th overall pick in S68 and played for the Phantoms for 6 seasons before leaving the team for the Helsinki Titans during the last free agency period. "I'll admit it, I've got some butterflies going in to play against my former boys. I've been playing in the VHL with some of these guys since the very beginning, they're like family to me. I got butterflies because I'm going to have to fine a way to be able to hate them enough to still go out and lay them out on the ice. I won't be holding back and I'm going to have to lay on some pain, it's the playoffs after all. I just want my former teammates know that no matter the result I won't have any hard feelings once this is done." Perrin has had a tough season but has heated up as of late and ended the season hitting the 50 point milestone for the 4th time in his career much thanks to his 7 point performance against the New York American in game 546 that seen him get his first career hat trick and the first star of the game. "Yeah I mean that was the best game I've ever played in my career. Everything was just clicking for me that night, I scored 9 goals this year so I scored a third of my goals in a night. I was just began feeling sorry for the New York Americans after I the 5 point mark. They just couldn't touch me." When asked about his team's odds of beating the Phantoms, Perrin had the following to say: " Well this team made the finals this year, there's lots of experience on this squad and a lot of promising young players. It'll be fun to experience this and I have complete confidence that if we all give her shit and go 100% in on this that we'll come out the other side as the winner of this series. As long as we come prepared, we got this."
