Titans Sweep Wildcard

Yesterday the Helsinki Titans finished a sweep on the Prague Phantoms in the wildcard series of the S74 playoffs. Game 1 was a close 2-1 decision, game 2 was a again close and finished 3-2, game 3 was a high scoring game of 6-4. Leading scorer in the series was Helsinki's Hiroshi Okada who scored 3 goals and had 4 assists. He was followed closely by Prague's Dan Baille Jr who scored 4 goals and had 2 assists for a total of 6 points. When looking at the goaltending both played well. Woody McPine had a 0.919 save percentage and Zamboni Driver had a 0.916 save percentage.
 

The Helisnki Titans will move on to the first official round of the playoffs and will face off against the conferences top record team from Moscow. Moscow has many threats like Vladimir Pavlov, Mikko Lahtinen and their goalie Raymond Bernard who can steal games on his own. The action starts soon.

Should be a good series, all the playoff teams in Europe this season carry some serious threats.
