Review:

I like the idea along with the reference so bonus points there. This a decent concept that has some potential. I appreciate keeping the style of New York with the shield and the colour scheme to an extent. There’s a couple areas which could be improved such as; having the grey stars on the top with a white background makes them incredibly hard to see. There’s a lot of white in this logo as well as the background. The last thing would be the team design. Earthicans doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue either. My suggestions would be to make better use of the white space in the background. Maybe consider instead of having the logo by itself, put it on the crest of a jersey to show it off a bit more. If you do a little bit of research im sure there’s some ideas for a Team World you could take ideas from. The last suggestion would to maybe use a slightly more detailed version of Earth.

 

Overall I think you had some good ideas but there was plenty of room to expand on those and take it a few steps further. I think with a bit more time invested into the design process it could really bring your ideas up a notch. Overall I’d have to give this a 5/10 but I do really like the originality.
