Cxsquared 455
It's a weird feeling moving on. Part of me expected to play my whole career in Riga. Honestly, I'm not sad that I was traded. It was the best move for Riga and I've always trusted the moves Hedge has made. I am however sad that I won't be playing for Riga anymore. I won't be playing with the team that's formed around me. So many memories were made on the ice in Riga including our Continental Cup in season 72 and breaking the continuous playoff appearance record. Those were major achievements in my career. Not only my career, but it felt like major achievements that Riga completed as a team. Even though we are going our separate ways, I feel like each Riga player that was traded this season is caring a little bit of Riga with them. The reign of Riga is coming to an end but it's opening up a new beginning. And when the current group of former Riga players have all retired, Riga will be back on top in time for the next generation of players to join it's ranks once again.
