Rayzor_7 741
Well it's Sunday now and I apparently forgot to write about anything yet. So in this case I guess I need to figure out something. Thankfully, Bana gave me an easy thing to talk about. Funk finally get's to rest as Team Canada falls to Team Nordic in the finals. Funk misses out on Gold but leads Team Canada to it's first medal in quite a few tournaments. It's not really the send off I wanted for him but I can't complain about his career. A permanent All-Star, four Continental Cups, four Kanous, Bears Captain and now Funk will have his Jersey lifted to the rafters and on top of that his number will be retired. No one will ever wear the number 33 for Seattle again. While it was a rumour for a while in the Locker Room it's still a surprise and an honour to have this happen. Seattle will always be The Team and I would argue that the core team is one of if not the best dynasty in the history of the VHL. So props to Bana for building the team to allow us to thrive.
