Da_Berr 219 Posted November 16, 2020 Share Posted November 16, 2020 The WC has finished and team Nordic is going to be taking home the gold after a tightly contested match with Canada. Team Canada was able to strike right off the bat, with Jeff Downey scoring the first goal of the game just 4 minutes in, on a PP. Unfortunately for team Canada they then gave up the momentum by giving up a short-handed goal to Ray Sheilds and Nordic. From their team, Nordic didn't let up at all scoring another two goals before the end of the first period. Despite the rough goings in the first, team Canada continued to persevere and score another two goals in the second, but Nordic answered back with a goal of their own. The third period was as intense as the first two, but neither team could find the back of the net, and with that Nordic was able to win the World Cup.
