I guess this has become a bit of a trend with me every offseason when trivia dies (does league history just stop existing during the offseason? Hell, I'd even run it in the offseason if Victor wants a week off then). I did it last season, had some fun, learned some interesting things, I think a few people read it, and that's enough for me to do it now. It's 150 words and I've probably used up half of that, so let's get to the info.

-Uhtred is a SUPER underrated player. He's basically nowhere to be seen in league talk and in fantasy drafts, and I forgot he even existed until I looked at the index a few weeks ago. But he's consistently active and finished eighth on the points list, with a season that broke 100 points to boot. He isn't much of a physical player, but it's super impressive that he did this while only taking one penalty all season. Something else worth mentioning, though--of his 41 goals, only three were game-winners.

-Dagmar Havlova may have had a very good season, but she can't shoot. With the 11th-most shots out of anyone last season, one would have to go all the way down to 28th-most (Aleelee Kiak of LA) to find another player with under 30 goals. This also gives goalies against Havlova a combined SV% of .934, a full 10 points ahead of Raymond Bernard's league-leading mark.

-Speaking of goalies and SV%...is Condor Adrienne really good enough that his team doesn't need a goalie to win? Malmo's Grekkark Gyrfalcon finished fourth in wins despite finishing 25th in save percentage (and dead-last among starters) with a .903. Even β-MAL G did markedly better.

-Can you say home-ice advantage? Davos may have been disappointing overall, but ranked fourth in the league in wins at home (11th in away games). I wish all our games were home games--is there an actual advantage to playing home games in the sim? It might be something to look into.

-Oh Sens was traded from Helsinki to Toronto in the middle of the season, and due to the way the sim schedule was set up, ended up playing two extra games for a total of 74 this season, rather than the usual 72 or the lucky 73 that someone usually ends up with when moved on the right end of the sim schedule. In contrast to Havlova, too, Sens finished second in the league in shooting percentage.
