S76 Draft Class Rankings - Initial Thoughts from a Top 25 Prospect

With the newly updated list from the Central Scouting VHL team regarding the S76 Draft Class, several new prospects have entered into the top 25, including players in almost every position! I reached out personally to one of these new players being discussed, Kristof Welch, to get his thoughts on these initial rankings.

 

"I'm honestly quite surprised, it's really not often you come onto the scene and before you really show what you got, you're already touted a bit. #23 on the VHCS Draft Rankings is no joke, as the players ranked above me have lots of skill. But in due time, I plan on working my way up the list one player at a time. Even if it's knocking off my fellow current Rush rookie blueliner Han Schultz II."

 

If these newly ranked prospects break out and continue to progress, we might be seeing a new crop of highly talented players that will either make it really hard for teams to draft if they're drafting for best player available, or really easy if certain teams need a specific position to build and work their team around, which is something you don't see quite often in any league or sport!
