Zolnek Starts Working On His Weaknesses

Coming into his third week in the VHLm, Jivere Zolnek has started to fill in some of the holes in his games. Frequently turning the puck over, Zolnek was brought to the side by the coaching staff and was told that his issues giving away the puck have hurt the team in his small minutes on the ice. The next week full week of practice, Zolnek had shifted his focuses from skating and scoring to puck handling and his ability to help the team keep possession. As a heavy Penalty Kill minute eater it is important that his ability to get the puck and keep it will help the team whenever they lose discipline. If he can prove that he can be a possession player it would be expected to help his draft stock and his ability to bring his game to the VHL. His skating and his scoring can easily translate, however giveaways are a killer especially as hockey has become a game that emphasizes possessions. Jivere is looking forward to the draft and his eyes are on the prize in terms of getting drafted as high as possible and making himself appealing to a high end organization.
