Eagles still struggling to score

While Tom Eagles has had a good start to his VHLM career so far with 49 points in 55 games player, the biggest worry has been his lack of scoring. So far out of the 49 points only 9 have been goals.

This isn't a lack of shooting as he has 129 shots, it just seems his shots are not finding the back of the net. His defensive play has been solid with a +26 but Tom needs to find ways to score.

 

" I mean I do prefer to setup my teammates but all my career I have been an offensive dman, I am not sure why the puck isn't going in as often but it's something I am consistently working on " Said Tom " My shots get through but I think they just don't have enough power yet to make a big difference. Usually they will get easily stopped but I plan on working with my coaches to improve that aspect of my game"

 

Tom still has time to prove to the VHL scouts that he can contribute on the offensive side of the game
